If you’re like me and spent your grade-school years beating all the boys at soccer during recess, you’ll probably agree when I say that there’s nothing quite so satisfying as a good pair of sneakers. Especially if that pair is bright, bold, and big. Fortunately, designers have recently seemed to agree, as there have been a ton of great new kicks to hit the shelves the past few seasons (and the trend is showing few signs of slowing down). While most of us former tomboys are no longer scoring goals at 11am and drinking Capri Suns, it doesn’t mean we have to give up the sturdy soles as well. Throw a pair of these on and you’ll be reminded of the glory days. Just don’t bring a soccer ball to the office.
